Front Desk Associate

The Hyatt Regency Coralville Hotel & Conference Center is seeking a friendly, service-oriented Front Desk Associate to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to create memorable first impressions for guests while working with a supportive team in one of the premier hotels in Eastern Iowa.

Our Front Desk Associates are the face of the hotel-welcoming guests, solving problems, and ensuring every stay begins and ends with exceptional service.

What You'll Do

As a Front Desk Associate, you will play an important role in creating positive guest experiences from arrival through departure.

Responsibilities include:

         Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival

         Check guests in and out of the hotel efficiently and accurately

         Answer guest questions about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services

         Handle guest requests or concerns with patience, professionalism, and care

         Input and retrieve information from hotel computer systems

         Assign rooms based on guest preferences and availability

         Answer phones and respond to guest inquiries in a professional manner

         Maintain accurate cash handling and house bank responsibilities

         Assist with luggage storage when needed

         Communicate guest needs to other departments to ensure seamless service

         Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area

         Support the team and assist with other duties as assigned
