Job description

This position is in support of a proposal effort and is contingent upon contract award. While this is not an immediate opening, we are proactively identifying qualified candidates for anticipated roles expected to begin around August. Candidates selected for this effort will be contacted as the program moves forward.
Please note that this position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance with a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph. No exceptions.

We are seeking a Records and Property Management Specialist to join our team and support mission-critical programs through strong security practices, collaboration, and attention to detail.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Records and Property Management Specialist to support a mission-focused program within the Intelligence Community. This role is responsible for managing records, documentation, and property accountability processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
This position plays a critical role in maintaining data integrity, supporting audits, and ensuring proper lifecycle management of records and government property
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain records and documentation in accordance with established policies, procedures, and audit requirements
  • Support the development, maintenance, and execution of records management processes, including records control schedules and file structures
  • Organize, maintain, and retrieve documentation to support operational and compliance needs
  • Maintain configuration and version control of records, file indexes, and closeout documentation
  • Assist with migration and restructuring of records into updated file systems and repositories
  • Provide guidance to staff on records management practices, retention requirements, and compliance standards
  • Track and document standard operating procedures related to records and property management
  • Conduct routine audits to ensure compliance with records management policies and file structures
  • Manage records lifecycle activities, including storage, archiving, and final disposition
  • Track and support records-related actions for personnel transitions and departures
  • Document and track Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests and assist with document searches as required
  • Maintain and verify property management records to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance
  • Track and manage property inventory, including purchases, accountability, and system updates
  • Support property disposition processes and respond to data calls related to property management
  • Maintain and track user access to shared systems and data repositories
  • Develop and deliver training on records and property management processes and requirement

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in library science, Information Management, Business Administration, Records Management, or a related field
    OR High School Diploma with additional relevant experience
  • 5+ years of experience in records management, property tracking, compliance audits, or FOIA support
    OR 8+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
  • Experience managing records lifecycle processes, including organization, retention, and disposition
  • Familiarity with compliance standards, audits, and documentation management practices

Desired Qualifications
  • Certified Records Manager (CRM) or equivalent certification
  • Experience supporting records and property management within the Intelligence Community (IC)or DoD environment
  • Experience developing SOPs, conducting training, and supporting audit readiness efforts

Clearance Requirement
  • Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
