Job description

The Clinical Quality Coordinator is responsible for supporting primary care practice performance under health plan and value-based care programs. This position monitors, audits, and improves clinical quality measures, including HEDIS and Medicare Advantage Star Ratings, to support positive patient outcomes and maximize payer incentive opportunities. The Clinical Quality Coordinator identifies and closes patient care gaps, audits electronic health record (EHR) documentation, supports accurate coding and data reporting, and provides education to providers and clinical staff regarding quality measures and documentation requirements.

Pre-Employment Requirements:
  • We are a drug free facility. Passing a pre-employment drug screening is required.

Education Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management, Medical Coding, Nursing, or a related healthcare field preferred.

Experience:
  • One (1) to three (3) years of experience in a medical office, health insurance processing, medical billing, healthcare quality, or a related healthcare setting.
  • Experience with HEDIS, Medicare Advantage Star Ratings, value-based care, or clinical quality programs preferred.
  • Experience with chart auditing, medical coding, or quality reporting preferred.
