Program & Project Management applies general business knowledge to plan, organize, and control resources, procedures, and timing for an administrative or business process. This job family organizes project teams, establishes project schedules and individual responsibilities, and determines resource requirements. Program & Project Management manages project budgets and reports on the status of project cost, timing and staffing. This job family also ensures adherence to internal external quality standards and integrates vendor tasks and deliverables into project plans.
Job Summary
The Project Manager - RCM is a key strategic role responsible for managing the execution of complex projects, primarily supporting the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team while also driving large-scale, enterprise-wide transformation initiatives. This individual will spearhead efforts to analyze, optimize, and standardize processes across the organization, bridging the gap between revenue cycle workflows and overarching organizational goals. They work within the constraints of budget, schedule, and scope while managing risk, ensuring adherence to established methodologies, and aligning with critical customer and business outcomes.
Responsibilities
  • Manages large, complex programs and projects, ranging from focused RCM implementations and optimizations to enterprise-wide or regulatory-driven work.
  • Develops comprehensive program and project business cases, charters, project plans, templates, and procedures.
  • Actively participates in strategy development and program prioritization, turning data and competing cross-functional feedback into clear, actionable direction.
  • Keeps projects on track by holding business owners accountable, following through on deliverables, and effectively prioritizing when timelines are tight and resources are limited.
  • Proactively identifies process gaps within the revenue cycle and broader enterprise operations instead of reacting after issues escalate.
  • Collaborates comfortably and effectively across operations, IT, finance, and external vendors to ensure seamless project execution and alignment.

Qualifications
  • 8-12 years of project management experience, preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
  • Communication Mastery: Clear and concise communicator to ensure updates and recommendations are communicated effectively. Adapts communication style seamlessly based on the audience, ranging from frontline teams to executive leadership.
  • Risk & Outcome Management: Adept at flagging risks early and explaining their specific operational and financial impacts. Focused strictly on practical outcomes and measurable improvement.
  • Core Project Management Excellence: Above all, this role requires an exceptional, disciplined project manager capable of driving complex, large-scale initiatives and holding teams accountable.
  • Revenue Cycle Expertise (Highly Preferred): While expert project management is the primary requirement, a strong, working knowledge of the full revenue cycle is highly desired. Candidates with experience in RCM implementations, optimizations, and using core RCM metrics to drive strategic decisions is preferred.

Anticipated salary range: $105,100 - $150,100
