Job description

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner with strong Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) engineering expertise to lead digital transformation and engineering automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will bridge business and technical teams by translating business requirements into a prioritized product backlog, defining user stories, validating solutions, and ensuring successful delivery of engineering products aligned with industry standards and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and maintain the product vision, roadmap, and prioritized backlog for OHTL engineering solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering teams, solution architects, and project leadership.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Overhead Transmission Line engineering processes, standards, and best practices.
  • Lead requirements gathering, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and solution reviews.
  • Validate engineering deliverables to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with applicable standards.
  • Manage product priorities, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), product releases, and user adoption activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement through digital engineering, automation, and AI-enabled solutions.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Engineering Lead, or similar role.
  • Strong domain expertise in Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) engineering and utility infrastructure projects.
  • Experience defining product roadmaps, managing product backlogs, and delivering Agile projects.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience translating complex engineering requirements into actionable development stories.
  • Familiarity with engineering automation, digital engineering, or AI-enabled engineering solutions is highly preferred.
