Job description


This role follows a 2nd shift schedule, working from 4 PM to 12:30 AM, with designated days off on Saturday and Sunday.


Responsible for performing tasks according to standard operating procedures (SOP) and best practices (BP).  Some tasks include but not limited to, label assigned packaging, portioning ingredients to their appropriate measurements and meal bagging correct quantities as given by Line Lead and/or Team Lead.

Detailed Responsibilities

RTH Helper Responsibilities

  • Must be able to work in a fast paced work environment and reach daily goals given to by Supervisor.
  • Must be detail oriented and maintain a clean workspace.
  • Must follow GMP and PPE standards as required in the RTE and RTH area such as; safety goggles, blue aprons and white plastic sleeves, captive footwear. 
  • Must report any damages, missing parts or foreign materials immediately to FSQA / Leadership.
  • Must follow all recipes and instructions to create  compound ingredients in correct proportions.
  • Bring up improvement ideas to RTH leadership and continuously work to improve!
  • When not assisting with RTH specific tasks, associate is required to execute normal production functions / tasks or as assigned. 

Labeling, Portioning, & Meal Bagging

  • Must be able to receive direction from Supervisor,  Line Lead and/or Team Lead to fulfill production requirements
  • Must label packaging at the standard average rate 
  • Must know how to use proper measuring utensils to portion ingredients
  • Must have strong attention to detail while picking ingredients in the meal bagging/kitting process
  • Ability to transition between tasks when needed

Shipping

  • Must work at a fast pace with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work as a team to reach shipping goals

GMP

  • Required to follow all GMPs while onsite at the facilities
  • Must keep work area clean at all times and assist in EOD clean ups

General Responsibilities 

  • Follow the facility GMPs and help enforce them throughout the facility
  • Support the efforts of the company to maintain our food safety system (SQF) and quality programs
  • Adheres to all safety guidelines (i.e. proper lifting techniques)

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma preferred but not required
  • 6+ months of production/warehouse environment preferred
