Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Job description:

We are not your average AV & Home Technology company, and we are looking for someone who is not your average AV & Home Technology Technician! Our perfect candidate is one who is dedicated to their craft, driven, has an extreme attention to detail, is a hard worker, and takes pride in a job well done.

We primarily work in residential properties in the Greater Dallas Ft. Worth Area and surrounding cities. Our typical clients appreciate a thoughtful approach to design and are looking for a well established, process-oriented company that will install and maintain reliable systems that have been customized to their needs.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Installation, configuration, and programming of all aspects of modern home technology; including shading, lighting, audio/video, networking and more.
  • Complete daily and weekly assignments as planned and communicate project needs, change requests, issues and status.
  • Establish and maintain positive, professional relationships with clients, site supervisors, project partners, and other trades.
  • Demonstrate the company’s commitment to superior service while always being attentive to client requests and needs.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Control4 Programming Experience (intermediate to expert only)
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic and follow through
  • Positive can-do attitude with the ability to wear many hats.
  • Ability to achieve timeline goals independently without micromanagement.
  • Have a minimum of 2-3 years experience in residential electronic systems, installation or service.

Bonus:

  • Ability to visualize the sequence of work and convert it to a measurable plan and schedule.
  • Ability to work under pressure, assess multiple demands, and manage priorities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person and/or via email, phone, or text to varied audiences.
  • Ability to read and interpret blue prints, electronic schematics, and user manuals.
  • Knowledge of construction techniques and wiring methods for new and existing construction.
  • Proficient with hand and power tools used to complete physical installations of speakers, displays, equipment racks, and ventilation systems.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred. A formal education in electronics or related field from a trade school is a plus.
  • Must be able to work within varied conditions some which may be small or confined
  • Valid drivers license. Must submit to an MVR check.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must own basic hand/power tools. Some tools/testers provided.
  • Physical requirements include standing, sitting, walking, bending, climbing, reaching and lifting up to 80 lbs.
  • Flexibility to travel or work overtime as necessary (not often)
  • Ability to articulate and document the day’s work via Teams or Email.
