We are a Chicagoland provider of exclusive, high-end home audio/video and automation products. We also specialize in tablet application development allowing control of lights, HVAC, security, music, video, pool and spa, or irrigation system from touchscreen tablets. iPhone/iPad control tops the list of our favorite things to do. We can control anything AV, Lighting, Security, Surveillance, and Automated Window Treatments with our custom created iPad applications. We sort through all the latest and greatest gadgetry and design customized solutions specific to the needs of each our clients.

Technology Professionals has an exciting opportunity for an Home Audio Programmer/Technician who can effectively install and troubleshoot residential automation systems, communicate well, work in a team environment, and enjoys dynamic work environments. This position requires at least 1 - 2 yrs. of "on the job" AV equipment and programming experience. The position is hands on and will involve working within a team environment installing state of the art systems in private residences. We work on high profile projects that require exceptional service and excellent attention to detail. Our specialties include: Home Theater, Whole Home Audio Systems, Lighting Control, HVAC Systems Control, Media Rooms, Computer Networks, and Automation. Our customers are affluent and demanding, and we've built our reputation by earning their trust and exceeding their expectations!
Job Knowledge and Requirementsโ€‹:-

  • 2+ years background in the audio/video industry, security or IT field is preferred, but not required.
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong customer service focus with strong communication skills and a professional approach
  • Candidate should be tech-savvy, computer literate and possess basic to intermediate knowledge of networks.
  • Universal Remote, Vantage, Control4 and Lutron experience preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Candidate will be expected to install home theater systems, low-voltage wiring, install and troubleshoot networks & surveillance, program home automation and lighting control systems & do TV installations
  • Candidate must possess team-building qualities and ample motivation to excel and improve upon skill sets and abilities.

Candidate will be expected to work overtime and flexible hours as needed to meet installation schedules and departmental needs. Success in this position requires a passion for working as a team, solving problems, persistence, identifying opportunities and the drive to succeed
