Job description

THHN Consulting LLC is a Florida-based healthcare consulting company connecting skilled therapy professionals with patients across all 67 Florida counties. We specialize in home health and community-based therapy services, partnering with independent subcontractors who want flexibility, competitive compensation, and a supportive team behind them. We handle the administrative side so you can focus on what you love — patient care.

Role Overview

We are seeking licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP/ST) to provide home health speech therapy services as 1099 independent subcontractors across Florida. You will evaluate and treat patients with communication, swallowing, and cognitive-linguistic disorders in the home setting — on a flexible, self-directed schedule.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct speech-language pathology evaluations including swallowing (dysphagia) and OASIS assessments

  • Develop individualized treatment plans for communication, cognition, and swallowing disorders

  • Provide skilled intervention for aphasia, dysarthria, dysphagia, and cognitive-communication deficits

  • Complete MBSS/FEES referrals as appropriate and coordinate with the care team

  • Educate patients and caregivers on safe swallowing techniques and compensatory strategies

  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with home health regulations

Requirements

  • Active, unrestricted Speech-Language Pathology license in Florida

  • CCC-SLP from ASHA preferred (or CF eligible with supervision plan)

  • Current CPR/BLS certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)

  • Proof of professional liability insurance

  • Valid W-9 (we will provide a blank W-9 if needed)

  • Reliable transportation; dysphagia experience strongly preferred
