Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Palm Beach Gardens, FL that is looking for a highly skilled Access Control Systems Administrator with comprehensive system administrative experience to join their team. Candidates in this role will support physical access systems and processes to drive efficiency, reliability, security, and performance across multiple power generation division facilities. This position configures, maintains, and supports a physical access management application in support of power generation operations.
Responsibilities:
* Management of physical access system configuration, including programming of physical access points at new facilities
* Manages user access, supports access role changes, identifies/assigns privileged users, and maintains access permissions for physical access system
* Ensure integrity of physical access system credentials by conducting regular audits and validation checks
* Perform routine system maintenance and ongoing monitoring of performance
* Serve as a central point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving system issues
* Assists project teams with technical issues in the initiation and planning phases of new projects
* Provide training and support to end-users; Develop user manuals and system documentation
* Coordinate system upgrades and new feature implementations
* Performs other job-related duties, as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
* High School diploma/GED (required)
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (preferred)
* 4+ years of experience (required)
* 5-7+ years of experience as a systems administrator (preferred)
* Experience with Cloud-based management services (preferred)
* Attention to detail
* Analytical problem solving, troubleshooting, root cause analysis skills
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
* Ability to work independently or in a team-oriented environment
* Strong documentation skills for creating procedural and technical documentation
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
