    Position Summary
    Link Technologies is seeking an experienced Access Control Engineer to support physical security consulting services involving enterprise access control systems for critical infrastructure facilities. The engineer will review system designs, evaluate technology solutions, support construction administration, and assist with commissioning activities.
    Responsibilities
    • Review enterprise access control system designs.
    • Evaluate badge access systems.
    • Review electronic locking hardware.
    • Review door hardware schedules.
    • Evaluate controller architecture.
    • Assess integration with video surveillance and intrusion detection systems.
    • Review contractor submittals and RFIs.
    • Participate in design reviews.
    • Support construction inspections.
    • Witness system commissioning and acceptance testing.
    • Prepare technical recommendations and reports.

    Required Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
    • 7+ years designing or reviewing enterprise access control systems.
    • Experience with electronic door hardware.
    • Experience with enterprise access control software.
    • Knowledge of low-voltage security systems.
    • Experience coordinating with architects and electrical engineers.
