Job Summary: As a Night Freight Supervisor, you will lead our night freight team in restocking shelves and ensuring the store is organized and ready for customers each morning. Your responsibilities will include supervising team members, coordinating delivery schedules, and overseeing inventory management. Examples of Duties:
- Supervise the night freight team, including scheduling, assigning tasks, and providing guidance and support.
- Coordinate delivery schedules and ensure timely unloading and stocking of merchandise.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and restocking activities as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct training sessions for new hires and provide ongoing coaching and development for team members.
- Communicate effectively with other departments and store management to coordinate workflow and address issues.
- Perform regular inspections of the sales floor to ensure shelves are properly stocked and merchandise is organized.
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation activities to maintain accurate inventory records.
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of grocery products and categories.
- Understanding of stocking procedures and inventory management principles.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and guidelines related to handling merchandise.
Skills:
- Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve department goals and provide excellent service.
- Organization: Skill in managing schedules, tasks, and priorities to ensure efficient operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Availability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
