A mid-size international freight forwarder is expanding its U.S. presence and seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead operations and commercial growth in Houston. This role offers full ownership of branch performance, including P&L management, team leadership, and strategic sales development, with the backing of a forwarder investing heavily in the Gulf Coast region.

The Opportunity

As Branch Manager, you will take charge of a growing Houston operation with a strong foundation in air freight, ocean freight (FCL/LCL), trucking, and customs brokerage. You will lead a team covering both sales and operations, driving profitability and service delivery across diverse trade lanes including Transpacific, Transatlantic, and Latin America. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Houston branch with full P&L ownership, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Manage and develop teams across sales, operations, and customer service

  • Ensure operational excellence, compliance with CBP, FMC, TSA, and CTPAT requirements, and adherence to global standards
