Are you an experienced warehouse professional who thrives in a fast-paced freezer environment? Do you enjoy leading by example, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring products move safely and efficiently from storage to production and shipping?
We're seeking a Warehouse Freezer Lead to coordinate daily freezer operations, maintain inventory integrity, and support warehouse team performance. In this hands-on leadership role, you'll play a critical part in food safety, inventory control, and operational excellence while helping ensure our customers receive the quality products they expect.
What You'll Do
Freezer Operations & Inventory Control
  • Coordinate daily freezer activities including receiving, put-away, picking, staging, and internal inventory transfers
  • Ensure compliance with FIFO, lot control, and product rotation requirements
  • Maintain organized, labeled, and audit-ready freezer storage locations
  • Support production and shipping teams through timely and accurate inventory fulfillment
Inventory & System Accuracy
  • Execute and verify inventory transactions within the WMS/ERP system
  • Ensure all physical inventory movements are accurately reflected in system records
  • Assist with cycle counts, audits, inventory reconciliations, and discrepancy investigations
  • Identify and resolve inventory issues to maintain high accuracy levels
Team Leadership & Support
  • Provide day-to-day guidance and support to freezer associates
  • Reinforce standard operating procedures, food safety practices, and inventory discipline
  • Promote accountability, teamwork, and safe work practices
  • Lead by example through strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
Food Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, SQF, USDA, HACCP, and company food safety standards
  • Monitor freezer temperatures and escalate deviations immediately
  • Support internal and external audits through proper execution and documentation
  • Help maintain a culture of food safety and continuous improvement
Equipment Operation & Safety
  • Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and scanning equipment

What You Bring
Experience and Education
  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Prior lead or informal leadership experience is a plus
Technical Skills
