Seeking a part-time SORA Certified Instructor to lead the 24 Hour Pre-Assignment Training and 8-Hour Annual In-Service Renewal Security Guard programs. The ideal candidate will be motivated, a self-starter, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills.  This position is particularly suited for an entrepreneur-minded individual looking to grow with a small company. As a Security Instructor, you will be responsible for providing both hands-on classroom and virtual instruction. 
 
Responsibilities
Providing hands-on classroom and virtual instruction
Maintaining and updating course syllabus; assisting in the development of new curricula
Preparing student progress reports and grade reports; maintaining accurate and timely attendance records
 
Requirements
NJSP SORA Instructor’s certification
Prior Law Enforcement or Military Experience Preferred
Must have at least 3 years security guard training/management experience
Must have a flexible schedule (willing to work nights and weekends).
Ability to interact with the public in a direct and professional manner, strong interpersonal skills.
Customer Service/ retail Experience a plus
CPR/AED certifications are a plus but not a requirement for employment
