Job description

Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a full-time MET Registered Nurse for our Sepsis Program. The Medical Emergency Team (MET) Nurse has the responsibility and accountability for responding to calls and critical situations or concerns on all adult non-critical care units. The MET Nurse will utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation) to delegate, coordinate and provide safe, therapeutic nursing care to patients/families.

This individual makes independent judgments/decisions and takes action regarding a wide range of routine and complex patient issues, operating under guidelines of the Adult Rapid Response/Code Blue Protocols. The shift will be determined by each hiring manager. The pay rate will be determined in accordance with the labor agreement.AS/Diploma/Regency Degree required Bachelor's degree preferred Current RN license in WV required ACLS required (instructor status within 12 months of hire)

Maintains CEUs for licensure 2 years critical care experience required.
