Job description

For more than 33 years, MasterWord has been a trusted provider of language access solutions, helping organizations communicate effectively across cultures and languages. We deliver interpretation, translation, and localization services in more than 250 languages across four continents. Our interpreters support clients in a wide range of settings, including healthcare facilities, schools, courtrooms, government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and leading businesses, making a meaningful impact in the communities we serve.

We are currently seeking experienced Spanish<>English interpreters. The opportunity we currently have available allows the successful candidate to make a difference in their community by helping those with limited English proficiency. If you meet the requirements below and are looking for flexibility in your work hours and the ability to make a positive impact on the community in which you live and serve, please follow the instructions to apply.

Requirements:

  • Have formal or professional interpretation experience**
  • High-level fluency in both Spanish and English 
  • Preferred - experience supporting Child Protection and Adult Protection Services
  • It is preferred to have at least a two-year degree (or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Experience in the healthcare industry experience is preferred, although not required (for example, pharmacy tech/pharmacist, nursing home, hospital, hospice, patient tech, practicum hours as part of a nursing program, pharmaceutical rep, CNA, LVN, RN, volunteering at a hospital, etc.).

Interpreter must be able to commute for In -Person assignments within the Adams County, Colorado Market
