Our services include short circuit studies, protective device coordination, arc flash analysis, load flow, voltage drop, motor starting, and harmonic studies. Unlike many consulting engineering firms, we focus exclusively on providing these study services for both new and existing facilities.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Electrical Power System Study Engineer based in Milwaukee, WI. As an Electrical Power Systems Study Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our clients' electrical power systems. Responsibilities span the full scope of power system studies, from data collection and system modeling to analysis and report generation. You will work closely with team members to deliver high-quality studies for a diverse client base, including hospitals, universities, wastewater treatment plants, commercial properties, and data centers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

  • Strong background in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Design, and proficiency with electricity fundamentals

  • Ability to conduct detailed power system analysis including short circuit, load flow, and harmonic studies

  • Proficiency in software tools commonly used for electrical power systems studies is preferred

  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members

  • Familiarity with industry codes and standards (e.g., IEEE, NEC) is highly advantageous
