Job description

Make science legendary! We need high-energy, dramatic instructors to lead our ultra-fun after-school programs. No science degree? No problem. We provide the gear and the training - you provide the sparks!
The Essentials
  • Dates: Starting mid to late September 2026 (School Year)
  • Hours: Part-time | 2 - 4 days a week | 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM
  • Location: Southern Montgomery County, MD or Northwest DC - (Gear pick-up in Silver Spring or NoVA)
  • Pay: $75 per class

What You'll Do
  • Perform: Lead high-energy, interactive 1-hour science classes for grades K-6
  • Gear Up: Pick up your prepared experiment kits once a week from our hub
  • Inspire: Be the absolute highlight of a child's week!

What You Need
  • Kid-Approved: Experience working with elementary-aged children (camp, tutoring, theater, etc.).
  • Wheels: Reliable personal transportation to haul your weekly gear kits (Required).
  • Vibe: A big personality, a great sense of humor, and zero stage fright!
  • Clearance: Ability to pass a background check.
