Job Overview
The Director of Creative Production oversees creative production across all channels: print, digital, social, video, and PDP. Oversees seasonal budgets, schedules and logistics. The Director leads in talent & model procurement and the negotiations for all. Present to influence outcomes to progress our brand vision forward. Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions
  • People Management: Manage and mentor a team of six that include three direct reports. Lead the team to execute production efficiently, on budget and on time. Anticipate bandwidth needs, optimize freelance vs. full-time mix, and ensure teams are staffed for excellence.
  • Creative Sourcing & Rate Mastery: Maintains a current, comprehensive view of the industry landscape, best rates, and key creative talent (models, artists, influencers, Al). Leverages strong agency relationships to lead and finalize favorable rate negotiations for all creative productions.
  • Industry Relationships: Establish and grow the brand's relationships with photographers, directors, other talent and models by regularly recommending elevated talent to creative teams.
  • Present Budgets & Influence: Develop and track seasonal and annual budget projections and outcomes. Partner closely with creative leadership to keep budgets aligned. Present for approval and to give leadership a reliable view of upcoming work, staffing needs, and revenue projections.
  • Collaboration with Peers: Partner with creative leadership, project planning, art directors to organize the production of photo shoots and associated projects, while ensuring all creative components support the brand identity.
  • Legal Knowledge & New Technology: Current with changing technologies and how they are used in the industry. Work directly with legal counsel to ensure our work is within compliance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 10 - 12 years fashion photography production experience.
  • Maintain positive work environment with high creative standards and clear expectations.
  • Practices open and continuous communication, values keeping others informed, effectively presenting information in a clear, concise manner.
  • Proven ability to be strategic and tactical in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organization with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks; detail oriented.
  • Ability to think creatively, strategically and technically.
  • When required, must have the ability to manage the physical demands of business travel.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs.
