Job description

INNOCEAN USA, a full-service advertising agency located in sunny Huntington Beach, CA, is seeking a freelance Digital Account Supervisor to join our Hyundai team.
We are a hybrid work environment, x 3 days week in-office. Local candidates only, please.
Booking is 9/8 - 11/30/26 [possible to extend]
OVERVIEW
The Account Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day management of client's automotive website initiatives that center around leveraging data to optimize a user's experience. This role requires background in a digital or ad agency in a client services function, web development experience, as well as expertise working with technology vendors.
The successful candidate should possess solid client contact skills including, but not limited to, conducting presentations, trouble-shooting problems and thinking on their feet.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Role Responsibilities
  • Work with the client on a daily basis to identify needs and expectations for a large AI project and communicate those requirements to our technology vendor
  • Identify key stakeholders and disseminate information as necessary
  • Brief creative and production teams on project expectations including requirements for UX, design, development, and testing plans
  • Participate in and oversee the agency portion of the development process
  • Present creative design work to clients and capture feedback to communicate back to the team
  • Facilitate internal and client reviews, update status documents, legal routing, contact reports, and meeting coordination.
  • Ensure that all project deliverables are completed and up to client expectations, while working with the Production team to manage timelines and key dates
  • Act as a liaison between the vendor/agency working teams and the client working team on a daily basis
  • Communicate any questions or decisions points to clients and facilitate review/client approval of all key project deliverables
  • Work with Account Lead to present/communicate progress and outcome of projects to executive level clients
  • Facilitate internal and client reviews, update status documents, legal routing, contact reports, and meeting coordination
  • Represent the account team and communicate client direction to vendor/agency working team in all working level meetings
  • Set up and report on key metrics for the program
  • Work with Account Lead on project planning for future Phases of the AI program
  • Be the steward of the agency's brand management system and show solid knowledge of the client's business (including pricing, product, sales, marketing channels, strategies, and competitive landscape)
  • Lead client discussions regarding AI as well as digital marketing insights and recommendations

Management Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple workstreams with the large scope of our AI project to ensure that all team members/vendors have the information needed to keep the project moving
  • Manage client and vendor partners, fostering strong relationships, and serving as a reliable point of contact to address their needs and ensure satisfaction with our services and solutions.
  • Oversee the various agency processes required to track projects, prioritize work, and ensure that timelines are met
  • Report on project status on a weekly basis using our project template

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 6+ years' experience in account management at a digital or advertising agency
  • Knowledgeable in web development process and web deployment process
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to stay organized and manage multiple projects efficiently
  • Ability to assess a situation and make sound judgment calls / recommendations based on understanding of the project and client mindset
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, external partners, and internal teams
  • Ability to work with vendor PMs to manage project teams and ensure that all team members are clear on project goals/direction
  • A natural curiosity around AI technology and its potential
  • Top-level familiarity with AI systems and how they interface with other digital platforms/databases
  • Ability to manage budgets and agency billings
  • Knowledgeable in MS software, Word, Power Point, and Excel
  • Knowledgeable in Smartsheet, Basecamp, and other project management software

Salary range: $85,000 - $110,000. Pay is dependent upon several factors including but not limited to: years of experience, client, training, and transferable skills.
