Job description

We have a non-profit in San Francisco, CA Seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the Accounting and Operations Team with a special project. This would be supporting Data Entry along with other customer service tasks.


Position highlights:

  • 5-days onsite
  • NOT near Bart so someone living in SF proper preferred
  • Pay up to $28/hr
  • Strong data entry
  • 6+ weeks in length
  • Starts June 6th (could start sooner)


About the Opportunity

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will support day-to-day accounting operations, maintain financial data accuracy, and collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter, update, and maintain financial data across multiple systems and spreadsheets
  • Review and validate financial information to ensure data integrity and accuracy
  • Analyze, reconcile, and report financial data using large, formula-driven Excel spreadsheets
  • Communicate with external vendors regarding invoicing, payment processing, and submission requirements


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in accounting support, financial operations, bookkeeping, or related roles
  • Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Excel skills
