  • Develop creative approaches to written, visual, video, and digital storytelling.
  • Capture photography and short-form video to complement and strengthen district stories.
  • Support the writing and development of major district publications, including the annual school calendar, back-to-school newsletter, annual report, and other districtwide communications.
  • Build relationships throughout the District to develop a strong pipeline of stories and identify voices and experiences that may otherwise go untold.
  • Collaborate with the Strategic Communications team on storytelling campaigns, creative concepts, and special projects.
  • Assist with editing, proofreading, fact-checking, and preparing content for publication.

Experience & Skills
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Strong writing, interviewing, editing, and storytelling skills.

  • The ability to work independently, take initiative, and move a story from idea to completion.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and commitment to accuracy.
  • The ability to tell stories about diverse students, families, staff, and communities authentically and respectfully.

Education & Experience

  • Experience with photography and/or video production.
  • Experience creating content for websites, newsletters, publications, or digital platforms.
