Job description
The Milwaukee Rescue Mission (MRM) is seeking seasonal, Donor Database/Administrative Assistants to assist with gift processing and administrative tasks from October, 2026 through December 2026 (January, 2027, if needed).
WORK SCHEDULE: Full-time or Part-time (20-25 hrs/week), weekdays between the hours of 8:00am-4:30pm. Will be flexible with part-time work schedule.
LOCATION: Central Campus, 830 N 19th Street, Milwaukee, WI. 53233
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process donations through the gift processing system, including sorting and opening mail, scanning, editing, and verifying donations and entering information into the donor database
- Assist with donor database projects
- Assist with assembling department mailings
- Filing and answering phone calls
- High School diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in an administrative role (paid or volunteer) required
- Proficient Microsoft Office and database software skills with high degree of accuracy
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with competence and accuracy in grammar and spelling
- Detail orientated with strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Flexible, team player
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. and to stand or sit for long periods of time
- Be in agreement with and subscribe to the MRM Statement of Faith and the MRM Statement of Biblical Convictions
- Be a committed follower of the Lord Jesus Christ, which is evident in personal testimony and Christian conduct
- Pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
