Job Summary
Service specialist is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of service parts
Responsibilities include planning, scheduling assigning and directing work to team member(s).
The specialist works closely with the warehouse supervisor and serves as the customer contact.
Responsibilities
Receive & Process order and supplementals, prepares production plan and distributes to production.
Calculate monthly Kanban, print and sort daily kanban and distribute to appropiate department
Report daily on time delivery and Verifies shipments & ASN's
Coordinates with service Dandori to confirm the parts are produced, pulled and send to warehouse
Prepare back track report daily for the management and recovery plan for customer (RDA)
Assign/delegate responsibility for specific work to meet safety, quality, productivity, cost, and delivery
Find the root cause analysis for the miss shipment
Collect the WIP parts and components from TGTX weekly; schedule component orders
Prepare the schedule to run past model parts and follow up
Meeting with customer bi-weekly basis for the recovery plan update
Follow up and give instruction to the team member to pack on daily basis
Prepare Work Instruction, find BOM (Bill of material ) for past model parts from JD Edward
Coordinate to solve computer, printer, scanner issue at warehouse with TGNA IT
Expedite the back track condition by coordinating with other department
Capable to analyze and identify any potential cost savings
Provide delivery date for Vehicle on Road (VOR), Back track, supplimental order and canada order
Keep track on inventory at warehouse in daily basis
Qualifications
Strong background in basic computer skills (MS Office)
Proficient at data analysis (MS excel-pivot table, vlookup)
Toyota Production System experience beneficial for the position
Self starter and capable to work with minimal instruction
Basic understanding of BOM, able to prepare Purchase order
Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes
Strong math skills -Ability to compute rate, ratio, and to draw
and interpret bar graphs.
Strong communication skills
Working Conditions
50% on the shop/warehouse floor and 50% in an office work environment
Physical Demands
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
Be able to travel to the off-site warehouse
Possess valid driver's license/ insurance
