You'll work with teams of passionate colleagues, driven by a commitment to technical excellence and continuous learning.

As a company, we aim to build a world where communities go beyond resilience, embracing change as an opportunity to enhance safety, well-being, and quality of life. Join us to accelerate this vision and your professional development.

We are looking to add new talent to our growing team! We are currently seeking an Environmental Data Analyst to work in a technical support role with highly skilled professionals on diverse project teams in a dynamic environment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing group and company and get involved in a variety of projects for a wide range of clients. This is a full-time position located remote within the United States (option for remote/office hybrid).

As a member of our Environmental Data Management team, you will support general environmental data efforts for a variety of investigation and remediation projects. The successful candidate will manage, analyze, and deliver environmental data for all types of environmental investigations, bringing a creative approach to how data is collected, managed, and visualized. You will collaborate with technical staff nationwide, producing concise and compelling data products, providing guidance to scientists and engineers, and ensuring data supports informed decision-making processes. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to succeed both independently and within multidisciplinary teams.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
In this position, you will:

  • Manage and analyze environmental data for all types of environmental investigations.
  • Approach each task, regardless of size and scope, as an opportunity to rethink the conventional ways data is collected, managed, visualized, and delivered.
  • Produce concise, clear, and compelling data products with a keen eye for aesthetics, accuracy, and details.
  • Provide guidance in value-added ways for our scientists and engineers to leverage data to make informed decisions.
  • Work independently as well as collaborate closely with teams throughout the US.
  • Understand project requirements and client needs.
  • Demonstrate exceptional organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Minimum Skills and Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree in geology, environmental science, chemistry, mathematics, statistics or a related subject.
  • 3 to 5 years of environmental data management and analysis experience in the environmental consulting industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage environmental data throughout its life cycle from field sampling through reporting and analysis.
  • Required: Proficiency with environmental relational database management systems, including EarthSoft EQuIS, Power BI and OpenGround.
  • Required: Experience with database software such as MS SQL Server and MS Access.
  • Required: Experience manipulating and organizing data sets in MS Excel for database import and reporting.
  • Ability to manage and report chemicals commonly encountered in environmental investigations including metals, VOCs, SVOCs, fuels, pesticides, PCBs, and PFAS.
  • Knowledge of Federal and state environmental regulatory and electronic deliverable requirements is a plus.
  • Skilled at determining best approaches to presenting tabular data based on project needs.
  • High initiative, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to work with minimal supervision to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical, judgment, and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Preferred: Experience with PowerBI or other analytics software.
  • Optional: Experience preparing data for integrated visualization and spatial analysis in platforms such as ArcGIS.
  • Ability to configure enterprise dashboards to meet the needs of project teams and stakeholders is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and a desire to continuously improve processes and products.

The salary range for this position Nationwide is 65,000 - 85,000 annually.
