Job Requirements
Starting Salary: $47,476 yearly+ Depending on Experience
Day Shift available
As our Email Marketing Specialist, you'll work alongside our CRM Manager and collaborate with enterprise and casino marketing teams to bring our brands to life in inboxes (and beyond).
What does an Email Marketing Specialist do?
  • Works with the CRM Manager to execute email, direct mail, and SMS campaigns for new and existing brands to grow target market share, increase sales revenue, attract new guests, increase guest retention, and enhance upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
  • Executes, measures and reports on communication campaigns efficacy across Turning Stone Enterprises brands. Identify and report out which campaigns encourage guest retention, guest loyalty and guest spend.
  • Assists the CRM Manager with Guest Journey Mapping analyzing touchpoints and leveraging cross-marketing, upsell strategies.
  • Works closely with all departments to ensure campaigns work effectively.
  • Creates and optimizes landing pages for email marketing campaigns.
  • Ensures the database is segmented effectively for targeted marketing activities.
  • Deploys testing strategies for email, direct mail, and SMS campaigns and report out on the most effective approach for Turning Stone Enterprises.
  • Crafts and deliver reporting analyses, along with opportunistic recommendations, to marketing leadership.
  • Maintains external professional relationships to assure specialized expertise and development.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Work Experience
Key attributes we're seeking as an Email Marketing Specialist are:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4 years of working experience in email marketing strategy and execution
  • Must have experience in designing and formatting email templates, delivery and execution of email campaigns, and reporting analyses of campaign engagement and production. Hospitality industry-related background a plus.
  • Comprehensive understanding of email best practices, testing, deployment, and reporting using CRM platforms (Adobe Campaign Standard preferred)
  • Proficiency with HTML/CSS for email design and manipulation
  • Knowledgeable in data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, CASL)
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain valid gaming license as required for Turning Stone Enterprises.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Project Management efficacy: highly organized, results oriented, and able to take initiative and lead projects.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team; ability to manage multiple projects and staff, including freelancers and vendors.
  • Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
