We are seeking a detail-oriented Freelance Data Entry Specialist to ensure business records are accurate, complete, and consistently maintained. This role is well suited to an organized professional who excels in Microsoft Excel, works independently, and handles sensitive information with discretion.
Key Responsibilities
• Enter, update, validate, and maintain records across internal systems, databases, and spreadsheets.
• Review submitted information for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and proper formatting.
• Build and maintain Excel workbooks using sorting, filtering, formulas, lookup functions, and data-validation tools.
• Reconcile discrepancies, flag incomplete records, and coordinate corrections with appropriate stakeholders.
• Organize digital files and maintain clear documentation of completed assignments.
• Support periodic data-cleanup efforts and help standardize recordkeeping practices.
• Protect confidential company and customer information in accordance with established procedures.
