Job description

Prime Video is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join our Amazon MGM Studios Technology team in Culver City, CA. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production and post-production partners by designing, implementing, and maintaining business-critical infrastructure for Studios teams globally. Your responsibilities will include implementing and supporting enterprise network, systems, and storage solutions, as well as managing hybrid cloud network infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance across distributed environments.
Key job responsibilities
Design, implement, and support Network, Systems and Storage solutions optimized for Studios workflows across on-premises data centers, public cloud platforms, and production/post-production facilities globally.
Perform routine maintenance, updates, and patches for network equipment, storage arrays, and server infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.
Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability; troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in large-scale, multi-platform environments supporting global production operations.
Provide hands-on technical support at production facilities, post-production sites, and remote work environments; respond promptly to alerts and incidents.
Execute storage provisioning, data migration, and capacity management tasks while developing scripts and automation tools for routine administrative operations.
Collaborate with production teams, engineering groups, and vendors to understand requirements and implement solutions.
Document system configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides for Network, Systems and Storage infrastructure.
