Overview
This role's primary responsibility is to ensure that our data reporting is optimized to meet our clients' data-driven decision-making needs. The person will be responsible for implementing data source and system data dictionaries, establishing data quality standards and quality monitoring processes to provide data that is comprehensive, integrated, accurate, and efficiently structured. The position will coordinate across all levels of business, engineering, system administration stakeholders to drive data improvements and inform policy.
Responsibilities
Perform and manage the following Data Governance work streams:
  • Document data flow among various systems
  • Conduct monthly, quarterly and yearly compliance reports
  • Create the single, trusted source for key data dictionaries that can be shared across Publicis Media
  • Translate high level business requirements into detailed data governance requirements
  • Establish quality standards and indexes: ensure adherence to data governance, privacy policies, data security standards through analysis and audits
  • Provide subject matter expertise for data flow between systems and data dictionaries
  • Develop high quality deliverables and establish data performance expectations
  • Understand and interpret technical limitations and document issues for leadership alignment
  • Help translate technical concepts to business and list implications/capabilities to drive alignment and decision making
  • Work closely with leadership to set strategy and define success criteria for enterprise-wide initiatives

Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience in a data analytics or data governance role
  • Bachelor's Degree highly preferred
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of data concepts such as master data management, data governance, and profiling and cataloging.
  • Ability to write SQL code to do some data analysis / pivot tables in Excel. Proficiency in writing SQL scripts is required.
  • Familiarity with data management; experience working with data dev, engineering and data science teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Familiarity with ad tech industry and analytics background preferred
  • Demonstrated aptitude to quickly and effectively adapt to technologies outside of current experience
