About This Role
We are seeking an experienced Contingent Workforce Program Leader Consultant to support and enhance a recently launched contingent workforce program. In this highly visible role, you will partner with Procurement and senior leadership to assess the current state of the program, identify opportunities for improvement, and help establish scalable processes, governance, and operating practices. The ideal candidate brings deep contingent workforce expertise and has successfully led or transformed CW programs in complex enterprise environments.
Duration: 3-6 months
Pay Rate Range: $75-100 per hour W2
What You Will Work On
  • Conduct a current-state assessment of the Contingent Workforce (CW) program and identify process gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and document scalable CW processes, governance, workflows, and stakeholder communication plans.
  • Create a comprehensive program playbook to support consistent and efficient contingent workforce operations.
  • Partner with Procurement, HR, and business leaders to align on the long-term vision and strategy for the CW program.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of current contingent workforce solutions, including VMS and MSP partnerships, and recommend enhancements where appropriate.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement and change management efforts to support adoption of program standards and best practices.

What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience leading, building, or transforming Contingent Workforce (CW) programs within complex enterprise environments.
  • Demonstrated success conducting program assessments, gap analyses, and implementing process improvements.
  • Strong understanding of contingent workforce operations, governance, vendor management, and workforce strategy.
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to drive organizational change and operational excellence.
  • Hands-on experience with Vendor Management Systems (VMS); experience with VNDLY is highly preferred.
  • Experience working with Managed Service Providers (MSPs).
  • Familiarity with Oracle procurement and billing processes is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • CCWP (Certified Contingent Workforce Professional) certification is a plus.
