Assistant Maintenance Technician

Blue Roc Premier is actively searching for a seasoned and skilled Assistant Maintenance Technician to become a valuable addition to our team. We prioritize the growth and development of our staff, offering an outstanding training program aimed at cultivating strong leadership abilities in you.

As an Assistant Maintenance Technician, you will possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a dedication to ensuring the smooth operation of our communities.

Your daily job:

  • Perform general maintenance repairs, including but not limited to electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Ensure compliance with EPA regulations and maintain necessary certifications.
  • Prepare vacant units for new residents, including cleaning, repairs, and necessary upgrades.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to address maintenance issues promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to safety standards at all times.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail in all maintenance tasks.
  • Possess reliable transportation for on-site duties.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, fellow associates, vendors, and supervisors.
  • Collaborate with the service team to enhance the curb appeal of the community.

Requirements:

  • HVAC 608 Certification or equivalent.
  • Strong general knowledge of maintenance repairs.
  • EPA certification.
  • Proficiency in electrical and plumbing repairs.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Experience in a multi-family setting preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
  • Bilingual a plus

Sus funciones diarias:

  • Realizar reparaciones generales de mantenimiento, que incluyen, entre otras, sistemas eléctricos, plomería y HVAC.

  • Garantizar el cumplimiento de las regulaciones de la EPA y mantener las certificaciones requeridas.

  • Preparar unidades vacantes para nuevos residentes, incluyendo limpieza, reparaciones y mejoras necesarias.
