Assistant Maintenance Technician

As an Assistant Maintenance Technician, you will possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a dedication to ensuring the smooth operation of our communities.

Your daily job:

  • Perform general maintenance repairs, including but not limited to electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Ensure compliance with EPA regulations and maintain necessary certifications.
  • Prepare vacant units for new residents, including cleaning, repairs, and necessary upgrades.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to address maintenance issues promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to safety standards at all times.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail in all maintenance tasks.
  • Possess reliable transportation for on-site duties.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, fellow associates, vendors, and supervisors.
  • Collaborate with the service team to enhance the curb appeal of the community.

Requirements:

  • HVAC 608 Certification or equivalent.
  • Strong general knowledge of maintenance repairs.
  • EPA certification.
  • Proficiency in electrical and plumbing repairs.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Experience in a multi-family setting preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
  • Bilingual a plus
