You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals and families, guiding them through their mental health journeys.

About the Organization

Blue Pearl Psychiatry and Counseling Center, located in Springfield, Illinois, is a premier private outpatient mental health practice committed to serving a diverse clientele. Our mission is to provide comprehensive mental health services to adults, children, and families, ensuring the highest quality of care in the least restrictive environment. Our collaboration with Comprehensive Psychiatric Care enhances our service delivery through shared leadership and values, establishing a strong foundation for optimal mental health support.

Our innovative approach to mental health care emphasizes a supportive and collaborative atmosphere where clinicians can thrive. We prioritize a culture of professionalism and respect, empowering our team members to share their insights and build a practice characterized by integrity and compassion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a personal caseload of clients while establishing rapport and maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and progress reviews with clients to monitor their emotional stability and treatment goals.
  • Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs, ensuring a person-centered approach.
  • Accurately document client progress and maintain up-to-date records in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Perform initial intake assessments to determine treatment needs and establish appropriate care pathways.
  • Facilitate weekly individual therapy sessions, using evidence-based practices to support clients in their healing journeys.
  • Participate in ongoing individual supervision and professional development activities to continuously enhance clinical skills.
  • Collaborate effectively with healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive care and address overlapping health concerns.
  • Adopt a growth mindset, actively seeking feedback and pursuing learning opportunities to improve service delivery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice serves a diverse outpatient population that includes adults, children, and families facing an array of mental health challenges. As an LCPC, you will work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other emotional disorders, providing tailored therapeutic interventions that promote healing and resilience.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in mental health counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
  • Current, unrestricted, and active Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) credential.
  • At least one year of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient setting.
  • Comfortable with digital tools and technologies, including Excel, RMS systems, Outlook, and PIMSY for documentation and communication.
Preferred Experience
  • Proven experience providing direct psychotherapy services to both individuals and families.
  • Familiarity with intake assessments and developing collaborative treatment plans.
  • Experience in a multicultural environment and willingness to work with diverse populations.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $90,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Our compensation model is fee-for-service, ensuring guaranteed payment rates ahead of collections, minimizing wait times for reimbursement. Additional benefits include:

  • W2 employment status with emphasis on work-life balance.
  • Access to comprehensive medical, vision, and dental insurance plans, along with supplemental options.
  • Participation in a 401k retirement plan with company contributions to support your future.
  • Professional liability (malpractice) insurance provided.
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to support your own mental health and well-being.
  • Opportunities for professional development with free CEUs available on various mental health topics.
