Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Technical Content Engineer based in Germany.

Join a fast-growing, remote-first technology company building tools that help developers connect applications to the real world through integrations. In this role, you’ll combine software engineering expertise with technical storytelling to create content that genuinely resonates with developers. You’ll research APIs, integrations, AI agents, and infrastructure, building prototypes and writing code to develop firsthand technical understanding. You’ll help shape the technical narrative and perspective of the business alongside founders and engineering teams. Your work will play an important role in increasing awareness, adoption, and developer word of mouth. This is an opportunity to work independently, stay close to emerging AI technologies, and influence how complex technical ideas are communicated to a developer audience.

Accountabilities
  • Create deeply technical, high-quality content that educates developers about APIs, integrations, AI agents, and modern AI infrastructure.
  • Build prototypes, experiment with technologies, and write code to develop a firsthand understanding of the subjects covered in your content.
  • Research emerging developments across AI infrastructure, agents, developer tools, and related technologies to identify compelling topics and trends.
  • Develop strong, differentiated perspectives on where AI and developer infrastructure are heading and translate those insights into engaging technical content.
  • Collaborate closely with founders and engineering teams to shape the technical vision, messaging, and narrative.
  • Turn complex technical concepts into clear, precise, and useful content for an engineering audience.
  • Help establish technical content as a key driver of brand awareness, product adoption, developer engagement, and organic word of mouth.
  • Independently identify interesting technical questions, investigate them thoroughly, and determine the strongest angle for communicating your findings.
Requirements
  • Professional experience as a software engineer with a strong foundation in computer science and software development principles.
  • Hands-on experience with developer tools, APIs, infrastructure, integrations, or closely related technologies.
  • Ability to understand complex technical systems in depth and explain them clearly, accurately, and concisely.
  • Strong curiosity and a willingness to investigate how technologies work rather than relying solely on surface-level knowledge.
  • Strong interest in AI, AI agents, infrastructure, and the rapidly evolving technologies shaping modern software development.
  • Excellent independent judgment, with the ability to research topics, identify meaningful insights, and develop original points of view.
  • Strong written communication skills and the ability to translate technical expertise into compelling content; professional writing experience is beneficial but not essential.
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a remote environment and taking ownership of projects from research through execution.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with founders and engineers while maintaining a strong individual voice and perspective.
  • Available to work full-time or on a freelance basis.
Benefits
  • Fully remote position with flexibility to work from Europe, North America, or LATAM.
  • Opportunity to combine software engineering and technical content creation in a highly specialized role.
  • Work closely with founders and experienced engineering professionals from leading technology companies.
  • Exposure to cutting-edge developments in AI infrastructure, agents, APIs, integrations, and developer tooling.
  • Significant autonomy to research topics, develop perspectives, and shape the technical narrative.
  • Opportunity to make technical content a major contributor to developer awareness, adoption, and product growth.
  • Flexible engagement options, with the role available either full-time or as a freelancer.
  • Opportunity to join a fast-growing, YC-backed technology company serving hundreds of paying customers.

We appreciate your interest and wish you the best!
