About the role

We are seeking a freelance Retail Media Specialist with deep Amazon platform experience to join our team full-time (40 hours/week). This role requires hands-on, day-to-day management of retail media campaigns, along with the ability to operate in a full-service environment and engage directly with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize Amazon advertising campaigns (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display) on a daily basis
  • Execute campaign builds, bid adjustments, keyword strategy, and performance optimization
  • Monitor pacing, budgets, and performance KPIs to ensure campaign success
  • Analyze performance data and provide actionable insights and recommendations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (strategy, creative, analytics) to deliver full-service media solutions
  • Participate in client communications, including updates, reporting, and strategic discussions
  • Stay up to date on Amazon platform changes, retail media trends, and best practices

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on Amazon Advertising experience
  • Proven experience with day-to-day, in-platform campaign management (not just strategy)
  • Strong understanding of retail media and performance marketing fundamentals
  • Experience working in a full-service agency environment preferred
  • Comfortable working directly with clients and presenting performance insights
  • Proficiency with Amazon Ads console and reporting tools
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with additional retail media platforms (Walmart Connect, Instacart, etc.) preferred
  • Familiarity with analytics tools and dashboards (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, BI tools) preferred
