Job description

About OneSpan

OneSpan empowers critical infrastructure organizations to thrive by enabling secure, compliant, and frictionless digital interactions. Trusted by 60% of the world's top 100 banks, we protect over 300 million endpoints globally with award-winning authentication, mobile app security, and anti-fraud solutions. Our Passkey Solution - built on FIDO2/WebAuthn - represents a cornerstone of our next-generation authentication portfolio and a recognized market-leading product. Join us in shaping the passwordless future.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a visionary and execution-oriented Director of Product Management to accelerate adoption of our passwordless authentication solutions. With passkeys reaching mass-market scale and replacing legacy credentials, this leadership role requires deep expertise in the FIDO Alliance ecosystem. You will define product direction, unify cross-functional teams, and serve as our authority on passkey technology-driving market expansion across banking, fintech, and enterprise segments

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Define and own the multi-year product vision, strategy, and roadmap for OneSpan's Passkey Solution, aligned to company goals and evolving market opportunities.
  • Translate knowledge of FIDO2 and passkey standards (WebAuthn, CTAP2) into clear, differentiated product features.
  • Monitor regulatory environments and AI-driven fraud trends to ensure our solutions anticipate market shifts

Execution & Go-To-Market

  • Orchestrate the full product lifecycle, balancing technical excellence with speed to market.
  • Partner with Product Marketing and Sales to define pricing and packaging for SaaS and hybrid delivery models.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as customer lifetime value (CLV), Net Promoter Score (NPS), and reduction in help desk incidents.

 Market Leadership & Advocacy

  • Engage with customers, prospects, and industry analysts to build advocacy and validate product direction.
  • Represent OneSpan at industry events, providing expertise on passwordless authentication and digital identity.

Required Experience:

  • 8+ years of product management experience in authentication, identity and access management (IAM), or cybersecurity products.
  • Demonstrated expertise in passkeys, FIDO2/WebAuthn, and relying party integrations.
  • Deep understanding of highly regulated markets (financial services, fintech) and associated compliance frameworks.

Core Competencies:

  • Ability to orchestrate cross-functional collaboration and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to product decisions and scope trade-offs.
  • Track record of taking complex enterprise-grade security products from concept to successful market adoption.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active participation in FIDO Alliance working groups or related standards bodies.
  • Proven background shipping cloud-delivered security platforms (SaaS).

Why Join OneSpan?

  • Lead the product strategy for a market-leading passkey solution trusted by some of the world's largest banks.
  • Work at the frontier of FIDO2/passkey technology with a team that has been in the space from the beginning.
  • Collaborate with a global team of security experts and make a tangible impact protecting hundreds of millions of users.
  • The opportunity to shape a category-defining product at the forefront of the passwordless movement, with real impact on how hundreds of millions of people authenticate.
  • Be part of a company recognized as a KuppingerCole 2026 Leadership Compass leader in Passwordless Authentication for Enterprises.

Salary: $215,000 - $245,000 (depending on experience and qualifications) plus bonus.
