Job description

Our clients Retail Services Department is seeking five Fraud & Claims Operations Representatives to join their team in Des Moines, IA

Description

In this role, you will handle incoming calls and investigate potentially fraudulent activity while supporting team performance and cross-functional operational tasks. Servicing Inbound and Outbound call assistance with Retail Fraud Phone line.

Recommend process and tool improvements that increase the efficiency of fraud and claims operations.

Prioritize work independently and provide day-to-day leadership and mentorship to the Fraud & Claims team.

Identify and submit customer complaints when applicable.

Provide guidance and subject matter expertise to less experienced staff on complex fraud and claims matters.

Qualifications:

1 year of call center experience

Contact center or phone-based customer service experience.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook.

Ability to work independently with limited supervision

Ability to navigate multiple systems and applications and use search tools to locate information.

Nice to Have Qualifications:

Bilingual Spanish

Fraud and claims operations experience.

Banking/Financial Services Call Center experience

Strong initiative, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Retail Services and/or PLLC experience.

Schedule Requirements:

Monday - Friday On Site 5 days/week

First Month 8a-5p CST

Following will need to be flexible to work either 8a-5p or 9a-6p CST

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Des Moines, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
