Job description

Position Summary: The Fraternity Finance Coordinator assists the audit and finance departments with various responsibilities essential to day-to-day operations.
• Process accounts payable for ZTA Fraternity and the ZTA Fraternity Housing Corporation including cutting checks, mailing and filing
• Process accounts receivable for ZTA Fraternity (Collegiate & Alumnae)
• Reconcile national fees paid to the Fraternity
• Annually process alumnae tax reports
• National Officer Expense Assistance
• Track technology billing for each entity
• Audit Collegiate monthly accounting reports, including checkbook journals, billing and receivables journals to make sure chapters are following national policies and procedures
• Help prepare annual budgets for Collegiate chapters
• Review individual housing contracts for accuracy and timeliness
• Help with financial projects as assigned by the Senior Director of Fraternity Business Services and/or Senior Director of Finance
Qualifications
• Associates degree in accounting or business, preferred but not required
• Working knowledge of basic accounting principles: debits and credits; accounts receivable and payables; and journal entries
• Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Office and 10-key calculator
• Willingness to learn multiple databases and in-house finance programs
• Customer-service oriented with strong written and oral communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to problem solve
