RxSightยฎ is an ophthalmic medical technology corporation headquartered in Aliso Viejo, California that has commercialized the worldโ€™s first and only adjustable intraocular lens (IOL) that is customized after cataract surgery. The companyโ€™s mission is to revolutionize the premium cataract surgery experience by allowing surgeons to partner with their patients to achieve optimized results for every unique eye.

OVERVIEW:

The Clinical Sales Manager (France) is responsible for driving LDD Sales & LAL growth in France leading account prioritization & sales funnel management. Additionally, the manager will lead tactical account planning & onboarding of new accounts. This role functions as a business lead for RxSight for France at the account level, ensuring alignment of practice development initiatives with measurable LAL adoption KPIs.

The manager is responsible for providing world class training and support for physicians and staff on the use and integration of RxSight products and technology in France. The person will also work in coordination with the EU team to support clinics across EU. The manager will support clinical efforts at Customer site(s) via clinical support and monitoring surgery, support clinical evaluations and Light Delivery Device (LDD) treatments, reviewing post-operative visits and patient follow-ups and supporting clinical data collection for completion and compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP). This position will provide consistent, high-level support to Customer sites, fostering full integration of RxSight products and device-related clinical methods into their clinical practice.

Requirements:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own the full commercial cycle for LDD (Light Delivery Device) in France โ€” from pipeline development and surgeon prospecting through close, adoption, and ongoing utilization growth.Train Physicians and staff on RxSight technology and best practices.
  • Proactively partner with customers to support the sales process and ensure LAL is offered to all appropriate patients for the best quality vision.
  • Partner with regional leadership and HQ to implement adoption strategies by identifying training gaps, underutilizing surgeons, and performance trends across territories.
  • Own LAL growth and clinical execution within assigned accounts, tracking real-time performance and addressing barriers to adoption to ensure sustained success.
  • Communicate with sites to identify key on-site personnel, set proper expectations to ensure full site readiness to accept RxSight technology prior to customer onboarding.
  • Ensure staff supporting physicians are fully educated and trained on RxSight technology to full competence, enabling rapid adoption of RxSight technology within the customer site.
  • Oversee and manage Customer introduction, onboarding and ongoing training/educational activities to ensure full operational competence in compliance with current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as directed.
  • Ensure continuous procedure and training adherence for trained staff and physicians by conducting periodic audits of the effectiveness of the Clinical Training program.
  • Assist with customer complaint-handling and management, as applicable.
  • Provide consistent clinical support to set expectations and properly educate and train customers with regards to patient evaluation/selection, Light Adjustable Lens (LAL) implantation as well as postoperative evaluation and Light Delivery Device (LDD) treatments with a focus on patient safety, customer support and continuous improvement other Clinical Training program.
  • Monitor and analyze trends within your specific region and ensure communication to the local Sales teams, Commercial Organization, and RD&E.
  • Attend and support global trade shows, meetings and conferences when required.
  • Assist with clinical data collection, analysis and presentation as needed.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • 6+ years of experience spanning both commercial sales and clinical practice within ophthalmic MedTech, with a track record of influencing surgical adoption or driving revenue in a clinical selling environment.
  • 3โ€“5 years of direct clinical experience in cataract surgery planning, including refractions, biometry, and hands-on operation of diagnostic and surgical devices.
  • Ability to travel frequently throughout Europe (approximately 75%).
  • French fluency required; this role operates in a francophone market and demands confident, credible communication with surgeons and clinical staff.
  • Strong understanding and OR experience related to Cataract Surgery.
  • Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle and travel without restriction in the applicable region of the world.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Although this position will not have supervisory requirements it is expected that this position will lead clinical activities and efforts within individual customer sites. We expect this position will lead new customer onboarding activities as well as practice role model behavior through their interaction with RxSight customers and fellow employees as well as potential future customer.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and TRAINING:

  • BSc Optometry, Master of Optometry, and/or BA/BS with three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Training to be completed per the training plan for this position as maintained in the document control system
  • The training requirements on TRN-10007 Insider Trading Policy, TRN-10008 Global Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policy and TRN-10009 Code of Business Conducts and Ethics must be diligently completed within 30 days from the hiring date and on an annual basis
