Role:
As a Front of House Team Member at Sweet Paris Crêperie & Café, you are the heart of the guest experience, the friendly face that brings our Parisian-inspired hospitality to life.

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated candidates for Front of House positions at Sweet Paris Crêperie & Café in Cary, NC. As a FOH team member, you’ll be the first to welcome guests into our charming café and the last to send them off with a smile. Whether you’re greeting guests, taking orders, serving beautifully crafted crêpes and beverages, or ensuring the dining area remains clean and inviting, your warmth and attention to detail help create the delightful, memorable experience that Sweet Paris is known for.

Front of House positions include: Cashier, Barista, Food Runner, Guest Services, and Dining Room Attendant. All Positions receive tips additional to their hourly rate.

This role is essential to building positive guest relationships, supporting a strong store culture, and ensuring that every visit is enjoyable and memorable.

Essential Functions:

  • Greet every customer warmly with a smile and friendly attitude
  • Create a positive, upbeat environment that feels welcoming to all guests
  • Listen attentively to customer needs and offer helpful suggestions
  • Handle customer concerns with empathy and professionalism, ensuring satisfaction
  • Accurately take orders and operate the POS system
  • Suggest add-ons, combos, or featured products to enhance the guest experience
  • Process payments quickly and correctly, including cash, card, and digital transactions
  • Inform management of operational issues
  • Adhere to all company and industry safety and sanitary standards
  • Assist with back of the house tasks depending on business needs
  • Other duties as reasonably assigned by the team lead and/or general manager of the restaurant
  • Ensure all do-nuts and beverages are served fresh, attractive, and correctly packaged
  • Refill product displays as needed, keeping them neat and enticing
  • Communicate with the kitchen or prep area to ensure timely fulfillment of orders
  • Keep the lobby, counter, condiment stations, and restrooms maintained and sanitized
  • Regularly wipe down surfaces, restock napkins, cups, and utensils
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and team members
  • Work closely with other team members to maintain smooth operations
  • Communicate clearly during peak times to support a quick and enjoyable experience
  • Help train new FOH team members with a spirit of mentorship and positivity

Qualifications:

  • Prior customer service or hospitality experience is a plus, but not required
  • Strong communication skills and enjoys engaging with people
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly attitude
  • Flexible availability, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
