Zingerman's Bakehouse is hiring an Overnight Delivery Driver to work on our team! This overnight shift is from 12am-10am. Come join our Bakery Staff and deliver some of the best baked goods in the State! Hired individual will be delivering to our customers in and around Southeast Michigan. Must have great communication skills and a positive attitude to interact with our customers.

What does the job pay?

Starting pay is $18.00 per hour to start, negotiable based on experience. Zingerman's Bakehouse has an exciting training strategy with clearly defined expectations and pay increases along the way.

What are the requirements and skills needed for this job?

Availability Required:

  • Four 10-hour shifts per week between the hours of 12am and 10am.
  • Flexible schedule with weekend availability preferred
  • Holiday availability
  • Full availability in November and December (we don't take any extra time off during these months)

Performance Expectations - Essential Functions:

  • Loads and unloads delivery truck for assigned route
  • Drives Bakehouse 16' box truck to deliver baked goods in the Southeast Michigan area
  • Handles all our products with love and care
  • Delivers orders to our customers in a timely and safe manner
  • Adheres to the Zingerman's Guide to Good Driving and follows all Michigan driving laws
  • Gives excellent service to other drivers on the road and our customers

Success Patterns:

  • Experience driving a delivery truck is preferred but not required
  • Must have valid Michigan Drivers' License and good driving record
  • Must have or be able to acquire a valid Chauffeur's License
  • Has a valid DOT Medical Card (or able to obtain one after hire)
  • Can lift 70 pounds repeatedly
  • Can work weekends and holidays
  • Available to work 12am-10am, 4 shifts a week approximately 10 hours per shift.
  • 3 days off per week

Who are we?

Zingerman's Bakehouse is a wholesale bakery, retail shop, and baking school for home bakers. We sell to specialty food stores, cafes and restaurants in southeastern Michigan. We are real artisan bakers, meaning we use traditional methods and flavorful ingredients to make our food.


Where are we?

Zingerman's Bakehouse is located on the south side of Ann Arbor at 3711 Plaza Drive. While there is a bus stop within walking distance, the Bakehouse is NOT located on AATA bus route.


Who are we hiring?

The Delivery Department is looking for a full time Night Delivery Driver. Available to work 12am-10am, 4 shifts a week approximately 10 hours per shift. 3 days off per week!We are looking for team members with flexible schedules who can work weekends and holidays.
