Job description

Position Title: Commercial Drywall & Framing Project Manager
The role of the Commercial Drywall & Framing Project Manager is essential for overseeing projects from the award stage through completion. This position involves reviewing contracts and estimates, coordinating materials and labor, managing change orders, and ensuring the smooth execution of daily project activities. The individual will collaborate closely with estimators and project supervisors, who will provide support and onsite oversight. The successful candidate will need to navigate the complexities of multiple concurrent projects while maintaining high standards of quality and organization.
Commercial Drywall & Framing Project Manager Responsibilities:
  • Manage approximately 10 concurrent commercial projects, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and coordinate RFIs/ASIs with estimator support
  • Handle change orders, material procurement, and subcontractor coordination
  • Oversee project supervisors to ensure daily checks on progress and quality
  • Attend site meetings and conduct periodic site visits as required
  • Utilize general contractor systems and internal platforms for project management and documentation

Commercial Drywall & Framing Project Manager Requirements:
  • Experience as a project manager in commercial drywall, metal stud framing, insulation, and acoustical/specialty panels
  • Strong organizational skills and material knowledge
  • Proficiency with general contractor platforms, particularly Procore
  • Commercial experience in metal stud framing, acoustical ceilings, sound panels, and specialty panels is preferred
  • Ability to manage remote/hybrid work, jobsite visits, and multiple projects simultaneously is preferred
  • Familiarity with Bluebeam is preferred
