  • Implement and maintain quality control standards to ensure panels are built to specification, with minimal rework or defects-supporting the company's promise of "avoid delays and inconsistent workmanship"
  • Monitor and report on key manufacturing metrics: production output, cycle times, yield, scrap, labour efficiency, on-time delivery to site.
  • Drive continuous improvement in operations: workflow optimization, lean manufacturing principles, automation or technology adoption, waste reduction, cost control.
  • Manage the shop floor team: hiring, training, performance management, safety-compliance, development of operational staff.
  • Oversee equipment maintenance, facility utilization, stock/materials management, buffer capacity and contingency planning.
  • Work with logistics/dispatch team to ensure finished panels are loaded and delivered to job sites when required

  • Oversee shop operations and coordinate onsite activities
  • Support health & safety, maintain compliance with relevant regulations, ensure safe working environment in the shop.
  • Budgeting, forecasting and operations cost control for the prefab wall panel manufacturing operation.

What you'll bring:

  • Proven experience (10 yrs+) in framing multi-family homes.
  • 7-10 yrs+ as a framing lead/operations manager role, preferably in construction materials, wood-frame panels or related assembly operations.
  • Experience overseeing high-volume fabrication/assembly/build operations with strict schedule commitments.
  • Excellent leadership and team-management skills: ability to build, develop and lead a production team, manage multiple shifts if required.
