This is an opportunity for a physician leader who wants to make a meaningful impact - not only on patients, but on providers, operational strategy, and the future growth of an organization deeply committed to underserved communities. This organization serves approximately 13,000 patients annually, with a strong focus on improving healthcare access and outcomes within underserved communities.

What You'll Do This is a highly visible executive leadership role combining both clinical leadership and patient care. Schedule Split 60% Administrative Leadership 40% Clinical Care The CMO will provide clinical care approximately 2 days per week while leading organizational clinical strategy, provider support, quality initiatives, and operational collaboration. Key Leadership Responsibilities Clinical oversight across medical services and provider teams Provider mentorship, onboarding, engagement, and retention Quality improvement initiatives tied to: HEDIS UDS HRSA Patient satisfaction Clinical workflows and operational optimization Recruitment strategy for physicians and APPs Strategic planning and service line growth Board and executive leadership presentations related to quality and performance Leadership Environment This organization is looking for a true servant leader who: Leads by example Builds trust and collaboration Communicates directly and respectfully Focuses on solutions, not blame Supports providers while driving accountability Is comfortable navigating growth, change, and differing opinions The CEO and executive team are highly collaborative and value leaders who are: Self-motivated Adaptable Transparent Hands-on Forward-thinking Growth & Expansion Initiatives The organization is actively expanding services, including: New medical service locations launching in 2026 Enhanced Case Management (ECM) programs Continued provider growth and access expansion initiatives This CMO will play a major role in helping shape that growth.
