4 Hour Part-Time Bus Driver
Transportation Department
Effective Dates:
2025-2026 school year
Employment Terms:
Part-Time position; 4 hours daily
No medical benefits
At-will position; not associated with any collective bargaining association.
Reports To:
Transportation Coordinator/School Business Administrator
Job Goal(s):
To transport pupils and other authorized personnel in a safe and efficient manner and perform all activities related to the operation of the school bus.
Qualifications:
  1. ??Valid Commericial Driver's License.
  2. Minimum safe driving experience as determined by the Board.
  3. Sufficient mechanical aptitude to diagnose minor problems.
  4. Successful completion of drug and alcohol testing.
  5. Current DOT physical.
  6. Required criminal history background as conducted by the Office of Criminal History and Paramus Police Department.
  7. Required proof of US citizenship or legal resident alien status.

Salary:
Placement on the rate guide of $35.05 - $46.80 established by the Board of Education, in accordance with experience.
