What is Forward Majority?

Forward Majority is a political action committee (PAC) and advocacy organization focused on supporting Democratic candidates and flipping key state legislative chambers in the United States. Their primary goal is to help build and maintain Democratic majorities in battleground states, especially by targeting state legislatures where redistricting and policy decisions are made. Forward Majority uses data-driven strategies, targeted messaging, and significant fundraising to support candidates and campaigns in competitive districts. The organization was founded in 2017 in response to concerns about partisan gerrymandering and the influence of state-level politics on national issues.

What are some common challenges faced by professionals working in political campaign strategy roles at organizations like Forward Majority?

Professionals in political campaign strategy at organizations like Forward Majority often face the challenge of operating in fast-paced, high-pressure environments where priorities can shift rapidly based on the political landscape. Additionally, working collaboratively with diverse teams—such as field organizers, data analysts, and communications experts—is essential to align campaign messaging and outreach efforts effectively. These roles often involve tight deadlines, extended hours during peak campaign cycles, and the need to maintain resilience in the face of setbacks.
