We are seeking a friendly, organized, and energetic Floral Customer Service Specialist & Shop Assistant to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in creating exceptional customer experiences.

As one of the first points of contact for our valued clients, you'll play a vital role in helping customers select meaningful floral arrangements and gifts while supporting the day-to-day operations of our boutique floral shop. Your attention to detail, communication skills, and positive attitude will help ensure every customer receives the highest level of service.

This is an onsite position at our Boca Raton boutique.

What You’ll Do

Customer Service & Sales

  • Assist customers by phone, email, and in person with floral and gift orders
  • Accurately enter and document order details for our floral design team
  • Follow up with customers regarding special requests and custom orders
  • Collaborate with floral designers to ensure customer expectations are exceeded
  • Create a welcoming and professional experience for every customer interaction

Shop Operations

  • Maintain the appearance and organization of our boutique and floral cooler
  • Process and care for fresh flowers, including cutting, hydrating, feeding, and proper storage
  • Organize inventory, rotate stock, and keep supplies neatly maintained
  • Stock vases, floral supplies, and materials used in daily production
  • Assist delivery drivers by locating orders and preparing delivery routes
  • Process vendor invoices and verify that all products received match billing records
  • Help maintain a clean, efficient, and visually appealing workspace

What We're Looking For

Successful applicants will possess:

  • Previous customer service experience (telephone-based customer service is highly preferred)
  • Strong typing and computer skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
  • A strong work ethic and sense of urgency
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Floral industry experience is a plus, but not required. We are happy to train the right candidate.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects and shipments
  • Comfortable climbing ladders and working in a busy retail environment
  • Physical stamina to support daily shop operations

Schedule Requirements

Our shop is open six days per week, and we are seeking candidates with flexible availability.

Availability on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays is required, as these are key shifts we are actively looking to fill on a regular weekly basis.
