Customer Service Representative

Pay: $17.75/hour

Start Date: August 30, 2026

Job Type: Contract-to-hire

Location: San Antonio, TX (On-site to start)

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, meaning you’ll begin on contract for the first 4 months, and upon successful conversion to a full-time employee, you’ll become eligible to work remotely.

What you’ll do
  • Support customers through phone and chat
  • Assist with account management, billing questions, content inquiries, and basic site/app navigation
  • Troubleshoot common issues related to streaming services, devices, and network functionality
  • Recommend products and services during customer interactions
  • Deliver a professional, consistent experience across multiple systems and customer needs
  • Document customer issues clearly and accurately
  • Take ownership of each case from first contact through resolution
Training & schedule

Your onboarding is designed to help you build confidence and succeed in the role:

  • Classroom training: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, for the first 3 to 4 weeks
  • On-the-job training: Monday through Friday, 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM, for approximately 8 to 10 weeks
  • After training, most schedules begin in the afternoon and end by 9:00 PM
Work arrangement
  • Fully on-site for the initial 4-month contract period
  • After successful conversion to full-time employee status, team members become eligible to work remotely
  • Weekend and holiday availability is required based on business needs
What we’re looking for

We’re looking for people who are dependable, adaptable, and committed to delivering a great customer experience.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience
  • Comfortable using Windows, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Google Docs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong typing, phone, and computer navigation skills
  • Excellent written communication, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation
  • Strong comprehension and documentation skills
  • Ability to navigate internet, email, and instant messaging tools
  • Familiarity with digital streaming services and common streaming devices
  • Strong time management skills and accountability
  • Ability to adjust quickly and manage changing priorities
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to work on-site in San Antonio during the contract period and live within 30 miles of the office
Preferred
  • Call center experience
  • Tier 1 customer support or help desk support experience
