Job Description

Our top direct client is looking for a Business Intelligence Developer.

The client is a Fortune 50 multi-billion dollar revenue generating organization with a spectrum of products and services throughout major operating businesses

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for hands on development using SSIS, SSRS and T-SQL.
  • Responsible for developing and documenting the systems, processes and logic required to expose the existing data sets in the warehouse to end users for reporting and analysis purposes
  • Optimize dtsx packages and rdl reports for performance and improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure the quality, consistency and security of company data and data warehouse systems.
  • Utilize Source Control, bundle dependencies to make a deliverable unit of code, Build and deploy via a Continuous Integration framework.
  • Use a test driven design methodology.
  • Participate in an AGILE process.
Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology
  • Knowledge of Data Warehouse and BI Reporting concepts
  • Knowledge of Logical and Physical Database Design
  • Knowledge of SSIS and SSRS
  • Knowledge of SQL and T-SQL

Required Experience:

  • 3-5 years SSIS Development experience
  • 3-5 years SSRS Development experience
  • 3-5 Experience with writing and debugging SQL Server stored procedures
  • 3-5 Experience with Databases - OLTP and OLAP
